Another Broken Egg History
It was founded by Ron Green in 1996 at the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain. He was a highly skilled engineer who was working on the superconducting supercollider.
This is an engineering masterpiece that is supposed to break down many mysteries of science and physics.
It’s funny because all the way back in 2010 or something, many thought this giant 87.1-kilometer machine could eventually end the world.
Anyway, it’s all in the past now, and if you really want to know about the rumor, just search “Super Collider and Black Hole.”.
Let’s get back to the main topic. He was an engineer, but his heart was always thinking about something else. He knew from the beginning that this wasn’t the job of his dreams.
But the grinding forced him to do it until he had enough courage to look for something else. Around the 90s, he was heavily inspired by the restaurant business.
You can make food and also make people happy in the process. He immediately knew this was what he needed, and that’s how the first Broken Egg Cafe started.
But wait, where is “another”? Well, it came right after it in 1998. After two years of massive success, Ron decided to open a second location to fill out the popular demand.
This second location was named the Another Broken Egg Cafe. “Café” slowly faded, and all that remained was yet another broken egg.
Ron was always a perfectionist. He always disliked lunch and called it “a sad breakfast without alcohol.”.
In the US, it makes sense because Americans prefer light meals in both morning and noon. In that sense, he meant to change the way by adding beverages not just sweet or salty but also a bit alcoholic.
Another Broken Egg Review

And with that, our review crew arrived at the lovely Destin for a quick breakfast-style lunch. This Another Broken Egg Location opens daily at 7 a.m. straight.
We arrived right around 10, and the first thing we ordered was a Mediterranean Omelette. This $15 meal comes chock full of calories, carbohydrates, and sugar.
A perfect starting meal for grinders like us. Surprisingly, the omelet was filled with cream. Yes, you heard it right; it’s real sugary cream, and that’s pretty weird.
It also included sliced gyro meat, roasted red peppers, spinach, and red onions. That’s just the omelet part, though.
The toppings mainly used sliced tomatoes and goat cheese. The cheese is shimmering, so don’t worry about mixing it up yourself.
And how can a Mediterranean be called Mediterranean with some Greek seasoning? As for the final touch, you’ll also get a flatbread and a side of your choice.
That’s some serious blending for a simple breakfast meal. It all starts making sense if we look back at the history.
It’s Ron’s way to make breakfast heavy enough to be called lunch. As you just heard, this test has an extravagant range of alcoholic beverages like Bloody Mary, Mocktail, and Mimosa Kits.
I ordered a glass of Pineapple Berry Agua Fresca. This is a mocktail with pineapple juice, one of my favorite fruits of all time.
Along with a good sip of sparkling water, strawberry purée, and lime topped with a stem of fresh mint.
I’m not a morning drinker, so this mocktail is the only way for me. And yeah, the food and the drink both paired well.

Final Thoughts
Although this restaurant doesn’t look or even sound that exciting. Even Another Broken Egg menu doesn’t include fancy dishes.
Still, I’ll say that our experience was quite fulfilling. A morning meal has a huge impact on one’s life. Most restaurants stop serving this before 10 AM.
But here at Yet Another Broken Egg, they serve it throughout the day. Breakfast with cocktails? Well, that’s an interesting idea right there.
There are almost 100 other broken egg locations across 16 states. Well, I’m not surprised; after all, this is a fantastic place that has all that a person needs.
Maybe not the dinner, but come on, breakfast and lunch always come first. And that’s why we are proud to say that Another Broken Egg rightfully gets 10/10.
