The first Auntie Anne’s store came up in 1988 in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. The story of Auntie Anne started when Anne F. Beiler started a simple shop at the Pennsylvania farmer’s market along with her husband Jonas.
The founder baked the perfect pretzels that were fresh from the oven and their aroma attracted a swamp of natives in the Farmer’s Market thus making the shop a huge success.
