Barton G. History
Barton G. Weiss, the mastermind and founder of this restaurant, is a multi-talented event designer. He has proficiency in many fields, like writing and such.
He lived in New York until he moved to Miami to start his new business. On his journey as an event producer, he met a lot of people.
All had different backgrounds, and it allowed him to learn about a lot of things while doing his job.
He eventually tried his hands on real estate, writing, costumes, set design, etc. And each one of them went out great.
But his big luck shone in the restaurant industry. His latest invention was the Boston G. A restaurant that aims to provide a top-class experience.
Some even said it was a “Willy Wonka-style” dining experience. Boston G. has two sides; the front one acts as the event programmer.
While the Boston G. The Restaurant acts as the venue for such programs. It holds wedding ceremonies, high-profile meetings, NFL victory celebrations, and much more.
Currently, there are two active locations for the restaurant part. One closed down recently, and the fourth one is on WIP at Orlando.
Miami’s Boston G. was included in the country’s top 100 “hot spots” by OpenTable. The stimulating dilemma made everyone captive to its beauty.
Apart from that, there is nothing much to say. The venue and the menu are usually changed based on the occasion.
It’s up to the master chefs to decide what kind of masterpiece they will serve. If you are an NFL team, then expect a lot of meat. But if you love vegetables, then you can expect something special for you.
Things change based on occasion, and Boston G. does it with style. Now let’s move on to our review section since there isn’t much to add.
Barton G. Review
Make sure to check out the Barton G. menu prices beforehand. It’ll get quite dicey otherwise. Also, expect a multi-course meal with little to no customization.
It’s all presented by the chef. We went to the Miami locations and had a three-way meal. The appetiser was a Popcorn Parmigiano.
It was made from Parmesan cheese, organic popcorn, fresh grated cheese, local herbs, and nitrogen.
It is just straight-up popcorn that has a slight flavor twist. It’s salty and a bit sweet, and it definitely made us hungrier than before.
Next is the first course, which includes three meals. The best one was the second meal, called Piri Pirishoot Chicken Skewers.
It’s a highly complex meal with a stimulating taste. Made with Chicken Skewers dipped in West African BBQ Sauce, Piri Piri Dip, Butter Lettuce Cups, Cashew Gremolata, and Napa Cabbage Asian Slaw.
It looks similar to chicken tikka, but this one has a lot more ingredients. I can’t even recognize some of them, but at least they taste great.
Each bite included a piece of meat and one serving of the other items. So expect a consistent flavor across each bite.
This was the first item that made me curious about the next. Well, unfortunately, the third one wasn’t any good.
Nor the fourth or fifth from the second course. But, Shell Shock, Bordelaise Short Ribs was something else.
It used well-roasted fingerlings, potatoes, heirloom carrots, and coriander-roasted red pepper juice.
These ribs actually looked nasty. Ribs were drowned in the broth. It looked muddy at first, but the first bite changed my mind immediately.
The flavors and texture are so good that I wish there were more. Well, that’s a boomer since getting seconds is basically impossible in these kinds of restaurants.
Final Thoughts
Do you like expensive venues? Then it’s the perfect place for you. I personally don’t find these attractive.
Give me a good, simple homemade dish, and I’m all yours. The culinary arts have a place of their own, and that place is of a high standard.
You can have a fulfilling dinner for five or just one night at Boston G. It’s a high-class restaurant made for high-class people. Or some memorable moments that will stay inside us for the rest of our lives.
10/10, that’s for sure. We can’t give any less to a masterfully crafted place like this. The lighting, the tables, the music—everything is top-notch. Nothing to blame, nothing to complain about, just perfection!
