This is not your regular, run-of-the-mill restaurant. Mom’s Spaghetti sells a unique form of sauce that is straight-up made with the original content.
Most restaurants like experimenting with their sauce, but here at Mom’s Spaghetti, you’ll get exactly what you want: a good, warm spaghetti sponsored by none other than Eminem Himself.

Mom Spaghetti History
This is the story before his other iconic restaurant, Brick-and-mortar, was established. Previously, he worked with Union Joints to promote his songs and albums.
These are called pop-up restaurants, and unlike regular restaurants, these ones don’t stay around for long.
If you are lucky, you can see the same one the next day. But mostly pop-up restaurants only serve at night, or for a few hours at most.
Eminem is a popular name, but it took a lot of effort from marketing to sponsorship too. Otherwise, his songs wouldn’t reach the far corners of the state and the world.
The first song that he promoted using this method was The Shelter, from his album called The Revival. This happened in 2017, and it’s no wonder that both the restaurant and he earned a lot of attention.
Next year, both decided to give it a name: Mom’s Spaghetti. The second public appearance was at Coachella.
It was still a pop-up restaurant at this point. More stands were seen at popular concerts like the Firefly Music Festival and the Governor’s Ball Music Festival.
During the COVID era, Eminem and the Union Join worked together to donate 400 plates of meals to the veterans and frontline workers at Henry Ford Hospital and Detroit Receiving Hospital.
The restaurant was officially grounded on September 29, 2021. He opened it at 5 p.m., and he personally served the first 10 customers.
Before that, he advertised the grand opening on WXYZ-TV twice at 9 p.m. It was also uploaded to his YouTube channel, along with a telephone number.
The number repeated that there will be an exclusive merchandise store on the second floor of the store. There were a few more pop-ups spotted after that. Mostly to promote the main restaurant in Detroit.
Mom Spaghetti Review

This is a straightforward location that doesn’t offer an online ordering service. All you can do is visit there personally and enjoy the benefits.
Or you can buy their infamous spaghetti sauce from the main site. Anyway, we went to Woodward Ave. in Detroit for some real food.
As an experience, Spaghetti’s only had four variations. But the one I’m more curious about is the sandwich.
It turns out these sandwiches have spaghetti in the middle! Yeah, you heard it right, and there’s no way that I’ll stray away from this weird-looking dish.
The noodles look like tentacles—kind of creepy, but it’s a unique experience. Normal orders are served in French fry boxes, or at least that’s what it looks like.
There are no plates, so you can either eat in the store or roam around the town. It’s portable and doesn’t bind you to a single place.
As far as the spaghetti goes, it’s definitely good. The sauce in question is pretty authentic and has a strong aroma.
You can actually order a jar or two from their official website. It uses ground tomatoes, sugar, tomato paste, canola oil, spices, onions, garlic, carrots, sea salt, and red wine vinegar.
It’s heavily promoted by Eminem, so it’s a given that most big shots would give it a go. One of them was Mashed, a popular critic website that praised it for a lot of things.
There is low fat, calories, and sodium present in it. The use of sea salt did wonders, but the added sugar is more than the competition.
Final Thoughts
Mom’s Spaghetti is a simple place, actually. Better not expect any culinary art or some intense things. Yeah, celebrities will eat at expensive hotels, but when all is said and done, they are humans too.
And what is more delicious than good old spaghetti with meatballs? Eminem loves it; I love it too, and I bet a lot of you guys secretly adore it.
Our crew voted for 8.5/10 for Mom’s spaghetti. As we said, it’s a normal place. We will also give additional ratings for efforts and stories.
Except for the sandwich, there isn’t much to go around. Still, it’s not bad by any means. It’s a fantastic place, and their sauce will always be one of my favorite spaghetti sauces of all time.
