Three Pines Coffee History

Three Pines Coffee started its journey in 2015, at 165 South Main Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. However, its story starts with the founders Meg Frampton and Nick Price moving to Los Angeles to pursue their music careers.

While in LA, Meg and Nick were often engrossed in Handsome Coffee, an in-grained coffee house in the city, where Nick worked as a barista.

Unlike other crazy suggestions, Meg’s mom once decided that the two should start their own coffee place, and Meg’s inner voice couldn’t just laugh off the idea.

After a lot of thinking and tossing, Meg and Nick bought a brand new espresso machine, Grinders, and other coffee gear and headed towards Salt Lake City to live up their new dream. And that’s how Three Pines Coffee came into existence.

Initially, Three Pines Coffee began with a simple pine-paneled espresso cart that just served espresso, American, cappuccino, and latte.

In the beginning, Three Pines Coffee hopped in between hip events, and farmer markets and then settled at Liberty High Fresh.

When they started outgrowing the place, in 2016, Three Pines Coffee moved to a brick-and-mortar store downtown.

Though the place was quite petite was an ideal retail store for the founders. A year later, Three Pines Coffee finally moved to Main Street where the current café is located.

The journey of Three Pines Coffee has been a truly incredible one. The founders started Three Pines Coffee from scratch and have now made Three Pines Coffee one of the best cafes in Utah. The founders source the coffer from Portland and serve in varying blends.

In 2016-2017, Three Pines Coffee expanded its menu to add cold brew and drip coffee which widened its horizon.

Since its relocation to Main Street, Three Pines Coffee has been a boon to the locals and a must-visit location for visitors.

Over the years, the Three Pines Coffee menu with prices has not evolved much but has done what was needed for the growth of the business and to cater to the scaling demand of the customers.

The Three Pines Coffee menu prices are also affordably crafted at a good price for the best coffee in Utah.
