Whiskey Row History
As far as the actual pub goes, we have no idea when it came. The original date is shrouded in mystery, and only new ones are visible on the internet.
For example, the Nashville location was established on January 16, 2018. Scottsdale was the next area to see Whiskey Row in the same year.
And Denver is the last that came on December 31, 2021. We think the Gilbert location is the oldest, but again, the exact founding date is missing.
Anyway, we know that the main mastermind is Dierks Bentley, an American singer known for his country-style music.
He even made his way into the top 20 charts multiple times. Until he entered the pub market, this was a way to secure a place for his live performance.
While making Big Bucks quality food and drinks. At first, it was meant to be just a pub, but over time, it became an iconic place for country and Old West lovers.
The Nashville location is the most popular right now. He probably had a small pub in Gilbert somewhere around 2010–15. Again, it’s unclear, so let’s avoid going too deep.

As far as the food goes, it’s not something he personally prepared or invented. Instead, everything is curated according to his taste.
This gives you a breather that whatever you are eating is approved by the legend himself. Preferably, it will go up and down, but as far as the food is concerned, it’ll be there waiting for you.
The latest store is in Denver. The 6,000-square-foot building was bought off in 2018 and opened at the end of 2021.

The list is small, especially due to the main attractions being music and merchandise. And yeah, drinks too; it’s a pub, alright, and that’s expected.
Still, we just had to try out his whiskey burger. This cult classic is made with peppered bacon, honey-roasted jalapeños, melted cheddar cheese, and their signature whiskey sauce.
It’s a hot and spicy combination that goes well with a cold wine. Maybe get a screwdriver or sex on the beach.
It’ll only make the meat taste better. Just don’t get anything weirdly strong; it’ll dominate the flavors and ruin everything.
My combo is Sex on the Beach; the orange flavor perfectly complements the flavors, and the cold vodka only makes the spicy parts more crave-worthy.
Go for the All-American Burger for more vegetables and sweetness. Now the next dish won’t be available at all locations.
The Scottsdale location has wraps, but others won’t, most likely. Anyway, I went for BBQ chicken wraps.
The chicken was fried with the same signature whiskey sauce. It also comes with bacon, creamy slaw, ranch dressing, cheddar, and pickles inside a wheat tortilla.
Another hot one, so get another glass of water or something else. The colder, the better. The meat was well-cooked, and the sauce just made everything taste great. I’m not a big fan of creamy slaw or bacon.
I would love to eat it with chicken alone. Maybe with some crunchy veggies. Ah, I feel hungry already.
Overall, not a great dish in any way, and not a bad one either. The massive selection of drinks is the true champion in this case. And the bartender was quite funny, so that’s that.
Final Thoughts
Whiskey Row is just another pub in town. A cool place for some relaxing moments. Not for kids, that’s for sure, nor family.
Get your dad or girlfriend and see what Whiskey Row has to offer. Dance up, ear, dance again, drink, and repeat until everything sinks in.
As of today, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row has four active locations. And each location has something different.
Or live performances by solo artists, singers, and songwriters. Anything goes inside the barrier of Whiskey Row, and that’s what sets it apart from others.
It’s 50% food and 50% experience, so make sure to enjoy yourself to the fullest. I thought that Bull was in all of his locations; well, that’s a boomer!
