White Castle is the largest hamburger chain in America. In this article, you’ll find all about the White Castle menu and prices.
Eventually, White Castle was the world’s first hamburger chain restaurant, with the original concept through the roof.
Their first patty was made to look small but fulfilling, which also meant it was cheaper. It cost less than breakfast at the time when it first came.
That’s how it slowly became a favorite breakfast dish for students who had tight budgets. Meanwhile, the introduction of special coupons and ads in newspapers boosted popularity across all states.
White Castle now has over 350 active locations across five major cities in America. Look below for the White Castle menu with prices. Then our fan-favorite history and review segment will begin.

White Castle History
White Castle had two major people behind the scenes. The first was Billy Ingram, the provider, along with Walter Anderson, the chef.
Walter was a cook, and he had been in many food stands since 1916. He opened his first dinner idea in a streetcar. Meanwhile, he opened two more over the year.
Now for his fourth location, he was looking for some funds, and then he met Billy. This was a fated union that gave birth to this infamous White Castle.
It happened in 1921 in Wichita, Kansas. But the franchise wouldn’t begin until three years later when Billy met with Anderson.
They both partnered and decided to go big with their idea. They both incorporated White Castle and named it the White Castle System of Eating Houses Corporation.
At this point, no hamburger stations went big; that’s why White Castle was renowned as the world’s first fast-food hamburger chain.
Anderson and Billy only paid $700 when it was incorporated, and it was expanded to the northwest corner of First and Main.
Original, and these two locations are no longer in operation. Meanwhile, the original location is now owned by an antique shop owner. You can still visit there and experience the original building.
In the early 19th century, fast food chains were still unheard of. As a result, there was no way to get a regular supply of beef and other ingredients.
So White Castle developed its supply chain from top to bottom. They said in an interview that the only thing they don’t do is grow cows and wheat.
Anyway, there were many patents filed over the years, like a patty with five holes. It made the cookie process a lot easier, and soon White Castle secured its patent.
White Castle Review
At this point, there’s no way that anyone is unheard of. White Castle menu and prices have been on the talk for almost 100 years now.
Anyway, when we went to their stores, we were bombarded with lines and a menu that had more menus than we could count.
It’s a hamburger, so we were pretty sure that our team could handle at least three of them in one go. So first, we ordered the original 1921 Slider.
It was made with 100% beef patties. It was topped with caramelized onions, Roma tomatoes, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and pickles.
And let us tell you, the taste was unique from the first bite to the last. This was like the 50th time I ate, but still, it always packs a punch.
There was an alternative version of it called Original Slider® With Egg And Cheese. The ingredients were pretty much the same, as you can guess by now.
The only additions were a freshly cracked egg and your choice of cheese as a topping. Options were American, jalapeno, or smoked cheddar cheese.
Both of them were great, but this second one had more calories. So pick whichever you prefer. Most of us preferred the second since the egg gave it a better texture.
Sriracha Shrimp Nibblers® is a popular side dish from the White Castle menu. It had bite-sized butterfly shrimp inside a crispy coating.
Regular French fries are also available if you like. But we’ll recommend going for Loaded Fries instead. These crispy fries were topped with thick-cut bacon crumbles, melty cheese, and ranch sauce.
A worthy getaway from the everyday fries that we all love. And believe us, it is better than how it sounds. The creamy cheese took these ordinary French fries to the next level.

Final Thoughts
White Castle has served these crazy hamburgers for almost a century. And we can say for certain that it deserves it.
Their customer service is fantastic, and it’s been like this since our grandpa’s era. Even my 80-year-old grandparents knew what White Castle was and how good it tasted.
It’s been a fan favorite among youngsters, all thanks to the compact-sized meals. None of the items on the White Castle menu are over the top.
Each dish can be eaten in less than 5 minutes, or 4 bites in total. Excluding side dishes, of course; if we include that, it’ll be somewhere around 10 minutes at max.
Meanwhile, the plethora of options gives you a better protein rotation each day. On Monday, I have a beef patty, while on Tuesday, I go for eggs and cheese.
