Noodles & Company History
The founder of Noodles & Company was Aaron Kennedy, a former Pepsi executive in 1995.
The restaurant was opened in October 1995 in Denver, Colorado, Kennedy after raising funds for it. The idea came to him when he visited Mamie’s Asian Noodle Shop in New York.
However, in 1996 the restaurant faced initial losses and negative reviews and changed.
Even the Noodles & Company menu has had several changes. Yet eventually these changes led to rapid improvement and success.
By 2007, the restaurant had 142 locations in 26 states and began franchising. In 2010 an investment group acquired a majority interest. Thus in 2013 Noodles & Company went public and doubled its stock on the first day.
In 2015, the restaurant was to close several locations in Central Texas. And after a year in 2016, there was an accident that quickly spread throughout the country. The accident involved employees who refused to serve as police officers.

They introduced a pilot test with the name “Noodles World Kitchen.” Despite the changes, the nationwide rollout excluded the name change.
