Skyline Chili is yet another unique chain restaurant that looks like an airport from afar. Serve Greek-style foods mixed with American delights. Below you will find the Skyline Chili menu with prices.
The correct name would be Cincinnati-style chili. This chili sauce is somewhat related to Greek pasta sauce. Well, that’s because the founder himself came from that region.
Mediterranean-spiced chili meat sauce is used in these dishes. These are quite hot, and while some people avoid foods made with chili, the Skyline Chili, on the other hand, would break that fear.
Their food doesn’t just have a hotness to it; the other ingredients hide it so well that even a chili enthusiast will love it.
These kinds of sauces were all invented by immigrant restaurants in 1920. We don’t know for sure who exactly was behind this creation, but everything points towards Greek immigrants.
Anyway, whatever the reasons may be, Cincinnati chili has become a widely popular cuisine in America. It’s even considered one of the top 20 unique tastes of American cuisine.

Skyline Chili History
Skyline Chili was founded by Nicholas Lambrinides in Cincinnati, Ohio, around 1949. He was a Greek immigrant, and that’s how this restaurant got its signature flavors.
Since his childhood, he has seen his mother prepare local cuisine for him every day. He learned the secret behind making it and just loved it right away.
His dream was to make it known to those who were still unaware of its beautiful taste. Well, that day wouldn’t come until their family migrated to America for some unforeseen reason.
They stumbled upon Ohia, which is now known for its crazy memes and was once home to these little Greek families. This immigration happened in 1912, and since then, many Greek families have tried their hands at making food.
That’s how Cincinnati-style chili was born around 1920. He was still getting used to living in America when all these things happened, so all he could do was wait for the right moment.
At the time, his main goal was to bring his wife to America. After World War II was over and the economy regained its equilibrium, Nicholas just had the right amount of money to do that.
But did you know how the name Skyline made its way in? Well, their founder was always intrigued by Cincinnati’s skyline. He could see it from his restaurant, and that was the driving spirit for him.
Sadly, this historical Marvel has been demolished, but its spirit still lingers within the Skyline Chili. Even history has forgotten Skyline, but Skyline Chilli never will.
Skyline Chili Review
We were surprised to see that Skyline Chili menu had a dedicated section for vegans. It was surprising since most food chains avoid doing that.
So we just had to check it out, and man, that was quite interesting. It has three real recipes, but BLACK BEANS & RICE DELUXE BURRITO was the best among them.
It had Skyline’s black beans and rice in a tortilla, topped with additional black beans and rice, tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, and sour cream.
The best ones came from the Conneys section. The first one was a hot dog dish called Cheese Coney. It’s Skyline’s classic hot dog in a steamed bun with mustard.
Covered with their original secret recipe chili, a mound of shredded cheddar cheese, and, as always, a chock full of diced onions.
The chili cheese sandwich, on the other hand, had the most interesting outline. The cheese looked like pasta to use, but the taste of the main ingredients just took over the flavors.
It had a steamed bun with its original secret-recipe chili, mustard-topped onions, and diced onions with shredded cheddar cheese.
So which one is their signature dish? Well, it’s the one that we have yet to eat. It was the spaghetti! Yes, you heard it right, and it came in three size options.
The first one was 3-Way, which had Skyline Chilli’s original steaming spaghetti covered with their original secret recipe chili and topped further with a mound of shredded cheddar cheese.

Final Thoughts
Skyline Chili menu with prices had us hooked so much that we forgot to check out the other option for cheese. Yes, they had two types of cheese options that could be substituted with every dish they had.
The first one was a simple idea. It meant half the regular amount of cheese and reducing the calories. For example, regular 3-way spaghetti with half the cheese has 20% fewer calories.
Meanwhile, Extreme Habanero Cheese was made for real gluttons! It had massive heat from its extreme habanero and cheddar blend.
KFC introduced wraps once again last Christmas, but Skyline Chili menu had them decades ago. The chicken bacon wrap was a looker, while the classic chicken also had its charm.
Kid’s meals were also there, with bite-sized portions perfect for a tiny stomach. As for drinks, Tropicana® Lemonade and Dole® Lemonade were the recommended ones.
In short, Skyline Chili menu has everything that a fast food stand needs. Along with a perfect set of sit-down sets of dishes. So, what are you waiting for?
