Bahama Breeze History
Bahama Breeze is made for party people. Backed by Darden Restaurants in 1996, this place takes inspiration from the Caribbean Sea.
More like the pirates and the stuff they would probably eat. Along with live concerts, parties, and discos on the beach, Bahama Breeze promises it all.
The first location was spotted in Orlando, Florida. Slowly, popularity grew with good results. The Darden Restaurant knows how to turn a business into a success, and this one is no exception.
Great publicity and a great location played massive roles in the growth. Thanks to that, this name has grown to 30 or more locations.
The majority of it is located in tourist areas and towards the beach. Well, it’s a tropical restaurant, so it has to be in a tropical area to make sense.
It won’t be best to serve it in Times Square or in the middle of a crowded city. Tropical restaurants provide more than just food.
Here you’ll get to enjoy parties all day, drowning in cocktails if you prefer that, or even powders to some extent. This is where the soul uniquely meets with the ocean.
Mostly through the plates of seafood, tropical drinks, and beach parties. Those are only a few of the many points we have on the list.
In short, food is about 20% of what a tropical restaurant like Bahama Breeze can offer. And that’s what makes it, or forces it to be placed around tourist spots.
Each location is distinctly different in some way. It can be subtle, but the basic principle is that each location will have an exclusive feature of its own.
We’ll leave that for you to find out. Spoiling isn’t fun, and I’m sure you’ll want to experience the surprise at its finest.
Bahama Breeze Review
Tropical cuisines are just a few that we still haven’t fully experienced. So without further ado, let’s get to Delaware and experience the Bahama Breeze menu prices.
Our first pick was the all-new Crispy Conch Fritters. This new item mingles sea and land perfectly with a social mixture that is not that alienated from the rest.
You can expect Six fritters filled with corn, bell peppers, conch, pineapple-mango salsa, and Island tartar sauce.
Do you think the fritters are the main deal? Well, you can’t be more wrong! The tartar sauce is a white mess that is the only thing making the fritters taste exceptionally good. Don’t take it the wrong way; those balls pack a good punch too.
But without the white layer, it loses 80% of its peak flavor. In short, eat it like it’s meant to be, and you won’t be disappointed a bit.
Next on our list is a combo of skillet-simmered jerk shrimp and house salad. Our old followers would know I’m quite fond of greens.
It may look blended or upset some people, but I see it as an opportunity to make the food taste better while also fixing the vitamin imbalance in my diet.
The salad itself had superb ingredients like tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh greens, and pumpkin seeds with island vinaigrette.
It’s a small bowl, but it has a great combination of greens that would definitely pair well with the large shrimp.
And eventually, it did. The shrimp are super good, but the greens did a fantastic job at reducing the overwhelming burst of flavors.
Now all that’s left are the cocktail bars. I’m not so fond of that, so I’ll stop here. Finally, I had some tropical drinks—nothing special, but at least they were well made.
Final Thoughts
The atmosphere and the food were well-suited to the place. The theme was something else too, and it seems people come here often.
The reason isn’t food if you are wondering; it’s something else. Still, the business is booming, and I can definitely see why.
As far as the rating goes, Bahama Breeze will receive an 8/10. Remember that, as we said, food is just one part of the attraction.
As food reviewers, we can’t make extra remarks in other areas. Our main goal is to give points based on the food and how it’s made.
So far, there isn’t any notable flaw, but it can improve. I hope Bahama Breeze takes their food part more seriously and proves us wrong!
